Is there a pillow case that keeps your face from getting wrinkles while you sleep?
I always wake up in the morning with “pillow” marks” in my face from my cotton pillow case. Is there a pillow case on the market in another material that is meant to prevent this from happening?
Steps:
1. Line up your pillows in a straight order
2. Use Polyester or stick with cotton
3. Try to safety pin the ends to your pillow, so it’ll be straight.
4. In the morning, if this happens, wash your face and massage it.

CPAP Nasal Masks: What Good Are They?
If you are new to the world of CPAP nasal masks, you might find the idea of sleeping with something on your nose quite disturbing. Actually, nasal masks for sleep apnea treatment is prescribed for first time users to prevent the feeling of claustrophobia, and much more.
The Advantages of the Nasal Mask
Imagine sleeping with a full face mask. Just the thought of it can turn you green. It does take time to get adjusted to the added weight and the feel of something alien straddling your face. To ease patients to the new sleeping regimen, treatment begins with the use of the CPAP nasal masks, which covers the nose and has flexible tubes connected to a small machine, the CPAP machine.
To ensure maximum comfort especially for reluctant first-timers, CPAP nasal masks are equipped with cushions. These cushions come in gel, silicone, or plastic. Some come with nasal pillows which have inserts for air flow. Because less face surface is covered, the patient can sleep on his sides and on his stomach. On the other side of the fence is the full-faced CPAP mask. The mask covers the mouth and nose and has a chin strip to prevent it from slipping during sleep and to help keep the mouth of the patient closed and to prevent dry mouth if the sufferer sleeps with mouth open. Unfortunately, some patients may develop allergies to the material used for the chin strap. Yet, there are models that are comfortable to wear; this can be customized to fit your sleeping posture too though it may cost more.
Sleep Apnea Cure
Sleep apnea comes in two forms, central sleep apnea and obstructive sleep apnea. The less common central sleep apnea occurs when the part of the brain fails to send the right signals to the respiratory muscles. The sufferer makes no effort to breath for seconds or worse in minutes. Obstructive sleep apnea happens when the breathing passage constricts or seals during sleep. When the air passages seals, the sufferer stops breathing for brief periods waking up periodically during the night.
Treating sleep apnea is the ultimate goal of CPAP therapy. Before patients are outfitted with CPAP nasal masks or CPAP full-face masks, their sleep is monitored to observe the length of time the airways are deprived of essential oxygen. If CPAP nasal masks are used, a slight pressure is needed to increase the amount of air intake to facilitate regular breathing without straining or forcing the body’s breathing system to work hard.
The continuous supply of regulated pressurized air is fed through the nose via a tube assuring uninterrupted sleep during the night. To ensure treatment, it is important the nasal masks fits perfectly to prevent air leaks or treatment cannot be 100% effective. What can I do about a snoring roommate?!?
She knows she snores and once she is asleep she is impossible to wake up.. i’ve tried shaking her, yelling her name, even hitting her with a pillow 
I don’t want to be rude about it, but I end up sleeping on the couch almost every night!! How can I solve this problem without offending her!?
Just say to her ‘You could buy things to help you stop snoring. Like those things over your nose at night.’ but try say it in a joking way.
If she still carries on then tell her that you cant sleep at night and that its not fair on you.
And still if she carries on maybe tell a teacher about it. Im sure he/she will understand.
Sometimes you need to tell her the truth and straight. That its not fair .
If not as a joke buy her some stuff to stop her snoring. Show her how it feels.

Does anyone know of any medical or mental condition that would explain my roommate’s son’s chewing compulsion?
Food wise … my roommate’s 16 year old son has the diet of a child. He will only eat chicken nuggets and pizza. Yet he eats almost any non-food items, such as paper napkins, plastic bags, his socks, his shirts, his bedding, pillows, towels, etc.etc., that he can get his hands on. Originally I thought he was doing it unconsciously. That maybe it was some nervous habit thing that he wasn’t aware of. But as I’ve gotten to know him, and by his own admission, he is perfectly aware of it but says he doesn’t know why he does it. The whole limited food thing seems to be an immaturity thing. As I would think chewing would be too. But if so, at 16, shouldn’t he be out growing these odd behaviors by now? I think he needs counseling or some kind of mental health treatment while my roommate feels it’s just an irritating habit that he’ll out grow.
It sounds like Pica, which is a medical disorder usually directly resulting from iron deficiency. He may need therapy along with medical treatment. This is not something he’ll simply “grow out of.” He needs to change his diet and be treated immediately.
