Room Ideas?
So my mom says I have to decide what colour to paint my room in two weeks! I really have no idea what to do. I like red, light blue, black, and white. I was thinking of having a black and white bed with blue pillows, but I got sumped on what to do with my walls. I don’t want to seem goth either. And I don’t want white walls; to plain. I hate preppy stuff. I love guitar, singing, night clubbish stuff, dancing, and acting. Thanks!!
If you’re mom would go for it, this is what you should do: paint 2 walls red (opposite walls) and the other two walls white. Get 3 or 4 different widths of painters tape and tear off strips about a yard long or so, they don’t have to be the same. Then just go crazy putting the tape on the walls in all different directions. Then paint the walls again with the opposite color (red on white walls). Be sure the bottom coat is completely dry before you put the tape on the wall.
My daughter wanted to do this to her bedroom. I said let’s do it and we had the most fun!! She loved it and it looked fantastic!! and different. All of her friends loved it. They even brought their mom’s over to see it because they wanted to do their rooms this way.
My daughter was 17 when we did this.
