Tossing and turning all night, and now i hate that song?
I am 4 mos pregnant and a lil more, I cant sleep lately, I mean I toss and turn all night. I was elevating my leg at night by laying on my back and putting pillows on all sides to support me. I read in the expecting book, that your not supposed to lay on your back after a certain week or month. I heard that if I lay on my left side it will help with swollen feet, that circulation is better. There is no way in hell to lay on your left side and elevate your leg so high its above your head, when laying down ofcourse. I tried it and my knee was bent. lets just say I felt like I was playing twister. Ladies how do I sleep better, smoother and not have a swollen foot the next day. its so swollen, I have little fat pockets by my toes. Don’t worry about what all the books say! If you have swollen feet, kick back in the recliner. Don’t make yourself uncomfortable and have sleepless nights trying to lay in an uncomfortable position because a book said so. True, you should not sleep on your back, and it is next to impossible to sleep on your belly past a certian point but for God’s sake woman, get comfortable. You are pregnant and you need to get your sleep because you will have enough sleeplessness when that baby comes.
